Amherst H. Wilder Foundation

Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis
Catholic Charities in Minnesota helps tens of thousands of people each and every year, regardless of faith. They help people of all ages, genders, and religions. Some of the programs offered by Catholic Charities' include emergency housing assistance, children's services and child care, emergency services such as help with utility bills, and more.

HeatShare
Is an assistance program and charity that is paid for by customer contributions from Minnesota utilities. The Salvation Army runs this program across the state. It provides money and cash grants to help pay for natural gas, electricity, heating, home oil, and emergency furnace repairs and replacements.

Reach Out for Warmth (ROFW)
Over 40 local energy assistance agencies across Minnesota provide assistance thru this charity. The ROFW assistance program works with agencies across the state in an effort to provide help to people in need with emergency utility and heating bill assistance and furnace repair. The goal is to ensure the less fortunate stay warm during the winter.

Courage Center
The non-profit charity focuses on helping the disabled and individuals with a significant medical condition. They can offer medical rehabilitation, advice on health care, and fitness activities. Also vocational experts will help the disabled in creating a plan and finding a job or enrolling into classes or school. Other services offered include Support Groups and Transitional Rehabilitation for Minnesota residents.

Sharing and Caring
Addresses the needs of the poor. The group works to bridge the gap from the caring and concerned individuals in the Minnesota community to the working poor and seniors who are in need of help. They rely on donations to help the less fortunate, so please give if you can. Thousands of meals are served per week and canned goods are passed out from a pantry. Other assistance from this charity includes shelter, free eye exams and glasses, funds for bills such as rent, clothing, job costs, funeral expenses, and health care.

Union Gospel Mission

This church/Christian ministry supports the homeless, addicted, and the poor in the community. Volunteers and staff work to address the educational, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the poor in Minnesota. They offer a dental clinic, food, child care, youth programs, and Asian ministries.

Sabathani Community Center
The charity administers Family Resource Services. They run the largest food shelve in the region and distribute meats, legumes, pasta, canned goods, cereal, rice and packaged foods, milk, fresh fruits and vegetables (in season). Other items passed out include baby supplies, toiletries and maybe even juice and dessert items.
