Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

Established to offer job search assistance and related services to separating service members and their spouses during their period of transition into civilian life. TAP consists of comprehensive three day workshops at selected military installations worldwide conducted by professionally trained facilitators from State Employment Services, military family support services, Department of Labor contractors, or VETS staff present at the workshops.

Disabled Transition Assistance Program (DTAP): https://business.usa.gov/program/disabled-transition-assistance-program-dtap

 

DTAP is a 2-hour briefing sponsored by the Department of Veteran Affairs in conjunction with DoD. It may be offered following a VA Benefits Briefing, DOL Employment Workshop, or separately. DTAP provides you with specialized information about the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) Program.
